MY STORY IS ONE OF PASSION FOR FLOWERS, CREATIVITY, AND ART
My name is Khusan Nurov, a sugar flower artist based in Tashkent, specializing in handcrafted, realistic floral sculptures made entirely from sugar.
My passion for sugar floristry began with a fascination for botanical detail and has grown into a dedicated craft — combining traditional cake decorating techniques with fine art precision. Every petal, leaf and stem is shaped by hand to capture the delicate realism of natural flowers.
This path has taken me through professional pastry education, where I deepened my understanding of sugar work as both a technical skill and an artistic discipline. Since then, my focus has remained on refining realism and detail, treating every sugar flower as a small sculpture rather than simple decoration.
Over the years, my work has been recognized internationally, including a Silver Award at Cake Artist World 2025 (Sculpture Category), a Silver Award in the “Become a Legend” category, and a Silver Award at the “Prestige: The Eighth Wonder of the World” exhibition in Moscow, 2026.
MY JOURNEY IN SUGAR FLORISTRY
Sugar floristry is more than decoration — it’s a form of artistic expression inspired by the beauty of nature. Each sugar flower is handmade with patience, precision and a deep respect for botanical detail, whether for wedding cakes, floral sculptures or artistic display pieces.
This craft has taught me to observe nature closely — the curve of a petal, the way light falls on a leaf, the subtle color transitions within a single bloom — and to translate these details into something lasting, shaped entirely by hand.
My work has evolved through countless hours of practice, studying botanical references, and refining techniques for shaping, coloring and assembling sugar petals into lifelike compositions. Each new project is an opportunity to push the level of realism and artistic detail further, whether recreating a single delicate blossom or an entire floral arrangement.
